It is a large domestic enterprise manufacturing communication terminal products such as telephone, mobile phone etc.

        Cosun has more than 20 subsidiaries engaged in communication terminal studying, developing, manufacturing and selling, such as Hui Zhou Qiao Xing telecom industry Co., Ltd, Hui Zhou Qiao Xing telecommunication industry Co., Ltd, CECTELECOM Co.,LTD, Qiao Xing famous technical Co., Ltd, Huizhou Qiao Xing luo shi purified science technology co,ltd etc. Now the company have 7,521 employees, and more than 30% of them have received university education or over.

        Cosun has established 4000 sale network points home and abroad. The products by Cosun has been introduced into more than 20 countries and regions. The main products of Cosun are GSM mobile phones, CDMA mobile phones, telephones, wireless fixed telephones, fax, VoIP network phones, set-top boxes, tax control machines, radios, electronic toys ; Areas to be covered are industry design of communication terminal products and development, design and manufacture of the dies and microphone head.

        On the aspects of fixed telephones, Cosun telephones have consecutively led the nation before the two for 12 years from 1995 to 2006. And the sales volume became NO. 1 on the year 1999, 2004 and 2005.On Sep.1st, 2002, Cosun telephones were awarded by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, China Brand Strategy Committee as the "China Famous Brand" products. Re-assessed in such a honor in 2005.

        On the aspects of mobile phones, on Mar. 2002, subsidiary of Cosun invested 316 million to purchase the CECTELECOM Co.,LTD (CECT Mobile phone ), enter the GSM, CDMA mobile phone area, which has controlling 93.4% stocks. On March 2006, Cosun acquired the Qiao Xing COSUN brand mobile phone license issued by the Reform and Development Commission. “Qiao Xing series” mobile phone is formally constituted-- two brand mobiles “CECT” and “COSUN”.

        In terms of the capital operation, on Feb.17th, NASDAQ: XING successfully listed in NASDAQ, the United States, creating the first listing of the Chinese private enterprise in the United States and becoming the most dazzling star stock in Nasdaq. On May 3rd 2002, Cosun’s subordinate company Cosun mobile communication (NYSE: QXM) landing successfully on New York Stock Exchange of American, becoming the first domestic mobile phone manufacturer listed in NYSE.

        In terms of production operation, the company realized an output of 6.96 billion in 2003, 7.018 billion in 2004, and 7.6 billion in 2005, 8.5 billion in 2006, and the brand value is over 3 billion. The company produced and sold telephone for more than 10 million per year, mobile phones for over four million per year.

        In terms of scientific and technological research and development, Cosun has a over 5,000 square meters communication terminal products research center, and the company has respectively set up R & D centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Huizhou, Shenzhen for cell phone, telephone, fax and e-Toys. At the same time, the company has established research and development bases in many colleges and universities. In 2004, Guangdong mobile communication terminal engineering and technology research and development center was established in Cosun.
